Located on the Chennai-Tirupathi highway near Tiruttani, GRTIPER is perched amidst a sprawling 87-acre plot where 3.0 acres is dedicated for the institution, with a robust contemporary architecture befitting global standards.
GRTIPER is approved by Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), New Delhi and The Tamil Nadu government. It is proposed to offer Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm), 2 years course with affiliation to Director of Medical Education, Chennai and Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm), 4 years course with affiliation to Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, Chennai.

The principal/director of the institute Dr. R.Meenakshi Sundaram has obtained his masters in Department of Pharmacognosy & Ph.D. from the Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, Chennai. He has over 25 years of experience in the field of teaching and research.
